    Answer: Our software does not have a feature called 'reminders'.

    By 'reminders' we mean that the software would periodically check the event database (say every five minutes) and send an email out reminding anyone listening that 'the event is about to happen'.

    We do have a feature that we call 'notification' which causes an email to be sent whenever the event is added/modified or deleted. For example, if Joe creates an event scheduled for 10:00am Friday and it is currently 6:00pm Tuesday the notification email will be sent at 6:00pm Tuesday. No email will be sent on Friday (unless someone edits or deletes the event).

    Our software has no capability to send an email at the scheduled time of the event - only at the modification time of the event.
